Agustín Martín, Ph.D. Director of the Department of Design and Image Arts of the UCM
It is actively engaged in graphic design and art photography.
Doctor of Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1992. Bachelor of Fine Arts from the same university in 1985. Since that date is professor of graphic design at the School of Fine Arts.
He has lectured on art photography and design. He has done graphic design projects and stands for various institutions and companies. In 1995 he was president of El Caballito, association for the promotion of art photography. He has done a dozen solo exhibitions of photography and multiple collective both in Spain and abroad.
He combines his teaching at undergraduate level, Masters and PhD research (supervising doctoral theses, conferences, contract research and research projects). Research has two sections CNAI recognized by the (six-year).
He has been coordinator of the Master in Design and Degree in Design UCM and co-director of the research group of UCM “The Human Body in Contemporary Art”. He is currently director of the Department of Design and Image Arts of the UCM.
